A health startup’s patient app was clinically accurate but confusing for the people who needed it most.

We rebuilt the app around plain language, large tap targets and a design system tested with patients aged 18 to 84.

(THE STORY)
The brief
Parallel came to us looking for a patient app designed with patients, not for them. The goal was not to add more, but to find the few elements that could carry the whole brand with confidence.
What we made
Over several months we worked side by side with the Parallel team — from early workshops to the final launch files. Every decision was tested against one question: does this make the work clearer?
The result is a system that is easy to use, hard to break and quiet enough to last for years.
